2. Information You Provide
When you use CrushCourse, you may enter information such as:
- Names, ages, genders, and personality descriptions of you and your crush
- Birthday dates (used only to calculate zodiac signs and age)
- Messages you receive (for Smart Reply suggestions)
- Social media profile links (optional, used only to improve AI analysis)
- Occasion and budget details (for Gift Ideas)
This information is sent to our AI service to generate responses and is not stored on our servers. It is processed in real-time and discarded after your response is generated.
3. Data We Do NOT Store
CrushCourse does not:
- Create user accounts or require login
- Store your personal details, messages, or inputs on our servers
- Save your compatibility results or love strategy outputs
- Access, store, or share your social media data
- Sell your data to third parties
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Groq AI — processes your inputs to generate AI responses. Groq's privacy policy applies to data sent to their servers. No personally identifiable information is included beyond what you type.
- Google Analytics — collects anonymised usage data (pages visited, time on site, device type, country). This helps us understand how CrushCourse is used. No personal details are shared with Google Analytics.
- Netlify — hosts our website and serverless functions. Standard server logs may include IP addresses for security purposes.
5. Cookies
CrushCourse uses minimal browser storage:
- localStorage — saves your theme preference (dark/light mode, colour) so the site looks the same when you return.
- sessionStorage — temporarily saves form inputs within your browser tab so you don't lose your work if you accidentally close something. This data is cleared when you close your tab.
- Google Analytics cookies — used to track anonymous usage statistics. You can opt out via Google's opt-out tool.
We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
6. Children's Privacy
CrushCourse is intended for users aged 16 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take immediate steps to address it.

Since we don't store your personal data, there is nothing to request deletion of. However, you have the right to:
- Ask us what data (if any) is associated with your usage
- Opt out of Google Analytics tracking
